Scientific and practical conference “Combat trauma: a multidisciplinary approach to treatment” — a glimpse into the future of modern medicine
On November 1, 2024, a large-scale scientific and practical conference titled “Combat Trauma: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Treatment” took place in Kyiv. The event brought together 23 leading experts from various medical fields who shared their experience and innovative techniques for treating combat-related injuries. The conference was held in a hybrid format, allowing over 100 participants to attend in person and more than 2,000 to join online.
The topics covered during the event spanned a wide range of issues — from the treatment of internal organ damage (such as liver and kidney injuries) to modern advances in plastic surgery, vision restoration, and rehabilitation of patients with battlefield injuries.
