Topical Issues in Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Combat Trauma Care: Focus on Modern Antiseptics for Burn Wounds
On May 22, 2025, as part of the interdisciplinary event “Topical Issues in Surgery: From Routine Practice to Innovation. Combat Trauma. Anesthesiology”, a masterclass brought together leading specialists from Ukraine and Latvia. The event became a true platform for professional development, experience exchange, and practical skills in surgery, anesthesiology, and burn care.
Particular attention was paid to the selection of modern antiseptics to combat antibiotic-resistant microflora, which is critically important in the treatment of burn wounds—especially under conditions of military conflict.
Expert Video Lecture: Choosing an Antiseptic for Burn Wound Management
During the event, a recorded video lecture was presented on the topic:
“Selecting Antiseptics to Combat Antibiotic-Resistant Microflora in Burn Wounds.”
This topic has gained particular relevance due to the growing resistance of pathogenic flora to conventional antibiotics and antiseptic agents.
