Hydrogel dressing for burns and wounds HEALER GEL MILITARY® 9×12 cm /sterile/
Hydrogel dressing for wounds and burns is a specialized medical device designed for use in extreme conditions, particularly in military medicine, tactical medicine, field hospitals, and first aid scenarios. Due to its high content of PHMB, the dressing provides strong antiseptic protection and effectively suppresses the growth of dangerous microorganisms, including antibiotic-resistant hospital strains.
The dressing conforms to body contours, does not adhere to the wound, and maintains a moist and cooling environment, reducing pain and promoting rapid regeneration. It effectively protects the wound from external influences, dust, and infection in harsh field conditions. Reinforcement with non-woven material enhances the dressing’s durability, which is especially important during use in combat or extreme situations.
HEALER GEL MILITARY® is used for burns, wounds, pressure ulcers, trophic ulcers, and other skin lesions. It is an essential component of first aid kits for military personnel, frontline medics, rescue workers, and civilians during emergencies. It provides a reliable barrier, supports vital skin functions, and ensures patient comfort until evacuation or further medical care.

Detailed information about the product
HEALER GEL MILITARY® hydrogel wound and burn dressing is a medical device based on complex high-molecular compounds, including carbohydrates, protein-based substances, and a significant amount of calcium ions. The antiseptic properties of the dressing are ensured by the active ingredient polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride (PHMB). It is used to protect, hydrate, and disinfect acute, chronic, and infected wounds or burns, as well as to prevent contamination of wounds of various origins.
The HEALER GEL MILITARY® hydrogel dressing is alcohol-free, transparent, elastic, and easily conforms to the shape of the affected skin area. It has high adhesion to adjacent tissues and external bandaging materials, is completely and painlessly removed during dressing changes, serves as an effective barrier against bacteria and external particles, absorbs wound exudate without causing maceration, maintains a consistently moist and cool wound environment, and facilitates oxygen diffusion to the wound. Its hydrogel properties help maintain normal osmotic pressure within tissue cells, promote granulation, epithelialization, and autolytic cleansing of the wound surface. The moisture delivered to the wound from the hydrogel simplifies the processes of granulation and epidermal regeneration. In addition, the cooling sensation provided by the hydrogel helps reduce pain.
The functional auxiliary ingredients of the HEALER® GEL MILITARY® hydrogel wound and burn dressing contribute to its pronounced local anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects, soften and nourish the skin, and ensure adequate hydration and elasticity.
Scope of Application
Acute non-infected and infected wounds:
Post-traumatic injuries such as abrasions, lacerations, puncture wounds, stab wounds, bite wounds, and crush injuries. The dressing can also be effectively used on any wound surface and for postoperative sutures.
Chronic non-infected and infected wounds:
Diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, trophic ulcers, external skin lesions resulting from oncological conditions, as well as skin damage caused by eczema and neurodermatitis.
Thermal and chemical burns of degrees I–II and III.
Instructions for Use
To achieve optimal results, the area surrounding the wound should be thoroughly cleaned and treated with HEALER MEDICAL® antiseptic solution for wound treatment and healing (see the separate instruction for the solution) before applying the HEALER GEL MILITARY® hydrogel dressing.
The size of the HEALER GEL MEDICAL® hydrogel dressing should be selected so that it exceeds the wound perimeter by 2–3 cm. The dressing should then be secured with a bandage or any other suitable dressing material.
Interaction with Other Medicinal Products and Other Types of Interactions
The HEALER GEL MILITARY® hydrogel dressing should not be used in combination with other antiseptic solutions, ointments, oils, enzymes, or similar agents. These substances must be removed from the wound surface before applying the hydrogel dressing. The wound should be treated with HEALER MEDICAL® antiseptic solution or physiological saline, followed by application of the hydrogel dressing.
General Safety Instructions
Avoid using the hydrogel dressing if the wound is excessively moist or produces heavy exudate. Do not apply the hydrogel dressing to the skin of individuals who are hypersensitive to any of the product’s components. During use, take care to prevent the gel from coming into contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes.
