It is used for the care of abrasions, scratches, superficial burns (grade I–II), as well as for the treatment of skin around wounds and postoperative sutures to reduce microbial load and help prevent secondary contamination. The solution is suitable for hygienic and antiseptic treatment of intact skin of patients and healthcare personnel prior to non-invasive medical procedures and before donning medical gloves. The product exhibits antimicrobial activity against both transient and resident skin microflora and helps suppress microbial regrowth until the first washing of the skin.
